TRANSITIONING INTO FALL: PLACES TO VISIT
The warm sunny days of summer are surely behind us. The seasons are changing, but I don’t mind it. This is a prime time for farmers markets – harvest season is in full effect and fruits and veg are at their best. The trees are beginning to change colour, cooler temperatures are creeping in; this is what I love most about fall. Take a drive, get out of the city and explore the beauty of the changing of seasons.
Favourite places in Ontario to visit during fall:
Tobermory: fall sunsets over the Georgian Bay are worth the visit. Pack a picnic and take with you to Bruce Peninsula National Park for lunch under the trees.
Muskoka: this may be one of the best places to see the leaves changing colour. Stay the night or make it a weekend getaway.
The arrival of autumn is welcome. Waving goodbye to summer is never easy, but new seasons bring new flavours and experiences. Cheers to that. Now go and explore the beauty this season has to offer.
