Trish Magwood is a chef, food and lifestyle authority, entrepreneur and mom. She has spent her career in retail, media and start ups as a business owner, media expert in books and television and corporate consultant.
She is also an award winning author: Her first cookbook dish entertains, won the prestigious James Beard award, and her second, In My Mother’s Kitchen was a Globe & Mail bestseller and an Indigo Heather’s Pick. And her third cookbook My New Table was released fall 2021.
Trish was the founder of dish cooking studio with years of experience as a successful food entrepreneur, business owner, teacher, chef and media personality. dish was a creative service company - a cooking school catering company, cafe and retail store that she sold after a decade.
She has launched her new line Magwood.co – Everyday essentials for the modern home. All natural, made in Canada, soaps, creams, cleaners and curated Trish's picks of linens and ceramics to elevate the modern home. Trish was the creator and host of party dish, a judge for Food Network Canada’s Family Cook Off, a frequent guest expert on network television and the founder of the popular dish cooking studio in Toronto.
Trish is a thought and trend leader and experienced entrepreneur in the food and lifestyle space. She is sought after as a creator, connector, collaborator, ambassador, content expert, media personality and corporate consultant in the retail, media, lifestyle, food and beverage spaces. Trish is a mom to three kids and splits her time between Toronto and the small town of Creemore, Ontario.
